Inferior frontal sulcus

The inferior frontal sulcus is one of the major sulci of the frontal lobe, separating the middle frontal gyrus superiorly from the inferior frontal gyrus inferiorly. It runs posteriorly from the frontal pole, parallel to the lateral sulcus (sylvian fissure) back to the precentral sulcus.
