Pontomesencephalic angle

The pontomesencephalic angle has been described as an useful adjunct in the imaging diagnosis of intracranial hypotension. A normal value is 65˚ +/- 10˚, and a value less than 50˚ is suggestive of intracranial hypotension 1

    • anterior margin of the midbrain
    • anterosuperior margin of the pons
