Right temporal variant frontotemporal dementia

Last revised by Yaïr Glick on 17 Aug 2021

Right temporal variant of frontotemporal dementia is a relatively recently described, and less common, subtype of frontotemporal lobar degeneration

One is a tauopathy, which clinically maps to a similar presentation to behavioral variant frontotemporal dementia, whilst the second has TDP-43 pathology and more closely resembles language variant frontotemporal dementia 7
