Supraorbital nerve

Last revised by Frank Gaillard on 21 Mar 2022

The supraorbital nerve is the lateral and larger of the two branches of the frontal nerve, a branch of ophthalmic division of the trigeminal nerve. As it courses through the superior aspect of the extraconal space of the orbit it exits the orbit through the supraorbital notch to supply the conjunctiva of the mid upper eyelid and superior fornix and the skin of the forehead and scalp.
