- CRAB
Mnemonic
- C: hypercalcemia
- R: renal failure
- A: anemia
- B: bone disease
The CRAB mnemonic can help differentiate multiple myeloma from its precursor diseases - monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS) and smoldering multiple myeloma 2.
