Tip of the odontoid is 5 mm above the level of foramen magnum (MacRae's line). The pro-atlas is seen to articulate with inferior margin of clivus with large osteophytes at this neo-articulation.
The transverse ligament is thickened and is indenting the brainstem. No abnormal signal intensity in the brainstem.
