Glioblastoma NOS

Large heterogeneously enhancing mass with regions of peripheral nodularity. The adjacent cortex is thickened. Marked elevation of choline.
Case Discussion
The patient went on to have a resection which confirmed the diagnosis of glioblastoma.
Histology
- Neoplastic cells positive for GFAP (polyclonal)
- Negative for EMA
- Strong nuclear staining for P53 (D0-7)
- Ki-67 positive in 15%
Note: IDH mutation status is not provided in this case and according to the current (2016) WHO classification of CNS tumors, this tumor would, therefore, be designated as a glioblastoma NOS.
