Supraspinatus tendon tear

There is a fluid-filled defect replacing the right supraspinatus tendon. The length of the defect is about 15 mm. The rest of the rotator cuff tendons are intact. The subacromial-subdeltoid bursa shows effusion. There is a presence of an acromian spur.
The asymptomatic left supraspinatus tendon is intact.

The case shows a full-thickness tear of the supraspinatus tendon in an elderly lady.
