Acute breathlessness with chest pain and right heart strain.

Massive bilateral pulmonary embolism with evidence of right heart strain.

Case Discussion

Large bilateral pulmonary emboli with pulmonary hypertension resulting in widening of the main pulmonary artery and right heart strain.  The right ventricle is enlarged with deviation of the intraventricular septum.

Distal consolidation in the right lower lobe like represents pulmonary infarction.
