Presentation

Urinary incontinence.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

ultrasound

Markedly thickened urinary bladder wall and reduced capacity is seen.

Markedly contracted bladder, hydronephrosis of the left kidney, and ascites.

Case Discussion

CT scan and ultrasound showed, markedly contracted and small capacity urinary bladder, with diffuse asymmetric bladder wall thickening. Proximal hydroureteronephrosis is seen bilaterally.

Gross ascites is also noted.

Cystoscopic biopsy confirmed tuberculosis of urinary bladder.
