Presentation

An incidental finding of translucency with central calcifications in the distal femur on radiographs of the knee after a sports injury.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male

An intramedullary lesion with typical ring-and-arc calcifications in the distal diaphysis and metaphysis of the right femur. The endosteal cortical border was not eroded.

Case Discussion

The location and the chondroid matrix calcifications of the lesion, all are in favor of an enchondroma.
