Persistent radicular pain in the left L4 dermatoma 3 weeks after left lumbar disc herniotomy at L4/5/S1

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male

Postoperative root enhancement and thickening seen on the left, which is considered more or less normal within 6 months after surgery, unless combined with displacement or recurrent disc hernia
