Presentation
Left exophtalmos, diplopia, conjunctival swelling since some days.
Patient Data
Largely extraconal mass lesion in the upper outer left orbital quadrant with low signal on T1 and T2-weighted images, and homogeneous contrast enhancement. Involvement of the lacrimal gland and the adjacent conjunctiva. The lateral rectus muscle is displaced medially.
One mth later after surgical resection & chemoRx.
Resolution of lesion is seen after resection and chemo-radiotherapy. Good response is seen. Mass is completely resected.
Case Discussion
Lymphoma accounts for 50% of malignant orbital tumors. Due to its high cellularity, it often has low signal intensity on T2 (isointense to muscle).
