Morgagni hernia is a retrosternal/parasternal hernia and represents ~2% of congenital diaphragmatic hernias. Herniation occurs through the Morgagni foramen, adjacent to xiphoid process.

Mostly on the right side and asymptomatic. Hernias can contain omentum, colon and rarely stomach, small intestine and liver.
