A superficial, circumscribed, slightly lobulated cystic mass is visible on the radial and palmar aspect of the wrist, whose signal indicates a high water content on all sequences. Findings are in line with a benign ganglion cyst. Though this ganglion lies in close proximity to the flexor carpi radialis tendon, there seems to be a stalk connecting it with the carpal joint capsule.
