Fungal peritonitis (proved by ascitic tapping) with abdominal cocoon in immunocompromized young patient who underwent failed kidney transplant (please note the absent native kidneys).
Case Discussion
Abdominal cocoon (also known as sclerosing encapsulating peritonitis) is rare and represents fibrosing peritonitis with resulting in encasement of the small bowel.
