Presentation

Chronic knee pain.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

A Baker cyst at the posterior medial of the knee with a communicating tract to the knee joint via between the medial head of the gastrocnemius and the semimembranosus tendons.

There are two T2-hypointense inclusion bodies at the distal pole of the cyst, which are T1-isointense.
