There is thickening of the lower portion of Achilles tendon with intrasubstance altered signals. Significant retrocalcaneal bursal effusion. Marrow edema at insertion site of calcaneum. Subcutaneous edema at posterolateral aspect of the ankle joint. Minimal tenosynovitis of peroneal tendons.
