The histopathological diagnosis confirmed the carcinoid tumor. Mesenteric panniculitis is classically described in the differential diagnosis of carcinoid tumor, which can present as a mesenteric desmoplastic reaction with lymphadenopathy. However, in this case, mesenteric panniculitis was considered more probable.
