Ebstein anomaly

Case contributed by Maxime St-Amant
Diagnosis certain

Chest radiographs

x-ray

Chest x-ray shows an important cardiomegaly with regards mainly to the right heart. The heart is shaped a little bit like a box, which suggests Ebstein's anomaly in a young patient.

Cariac MRI

mri

MRI confirms low positioning of the tricuspid valve. Extreme dilatation of the right atrium with significant dilatation of the right ventricle. The findings are compatible with a severe form of Ebstein's anomaly.
