Presentation

Recurrent seizures.

Patient Data

Age: 8 years
Gender: Male
mri

Thick cortex is noted in the bilateral fronto-parietal region with sparse cortical sulci noted at these regions.

Multiple hyperintense signal areas are seen on the T2W and FLAIR images in the periventricular, subcortical white matter at these regions.

These findings represent pachygyria-agyria complex (lissencephaly).
