Multifocal hepatocellular carcinomas

Presentation

Right upper quadrant pain and jaundice. There is no clear information of patient previous medical history.

Patient Data

Age: 80 years
Gender: Male

Large hepatic mass with marked enhancement is seen in the right lobe. There are also several small masses with early enhancement in both lobes of the liver. On the delayed phase, washout is detectable in the lesions. Right portal vein involved with tumor thrombosis.

Case Discussion

The findings of the CT are compatible with hypervascular hepatic neoplasm. Appropriate Histology investigation confirmed the diagnosis of multifocal hepatocellular carcinoma.
