The lunate bone is collapsed and displays low signal intensity in all pulse sequences. Few cystic changes (degenerative) could be seen at the periphery of the lunate in SPIR. A ganglion cyst is seen related to the volar aspect of the ulnar side of the wrist superficial to the pronator quadratus mucsle. Mild joint effusion is noted. There is Intact traingular fibrocartilage.
