What does the term '4 phase CT" of the renals mean?
4 phase imaging is a multi-phase study comprising of; non contrast, cortical, parenchymal and excretory phases.
The kidneys are united at their lower pole with a horseshoe appearance. They have adequate cortical thickness. There is no dilatation of the excretory system. The gallbladder contains multiple stones.
