Scar endometriosis

Presentation

Previous lower segment cesarean section 7 years ago. Presented with a few years history of a painful nodule near scar.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female
ultrasound

In the region of pain pointed by patient, there is an irregular hypoechoic lesion in subcutaneous fat of abdominal wall. The lesion abutts right rectus muscle. It is about 10 mm cranial to right end of previous LSCS scar. Lesion measures 25 x 24 x 22 mm.

No calcification / cystic changes are noted. Few dopplar signals are noted.
No other lesion is noted in around previous LSCS scar.
