Pronounced posterior longitudinal ligament ossification extends from the upper part of C2 down to C5, and then to a lesser degree at the levels of C7 and T1. There is resulting quite pronounced narrowing of the vertebral canal which measured measures 7 mm in sagittal diameter between levels of C3 and C5. In the left side at C4/5 there is osteophytic encroachment on the neural exit foramen. Anterior longitudinal ligament ossification is most pronounced at C5 to C7.
