Lump in mid-thigh. Trauma during football match months ago, but no recent trauma.

Age: 14 years
Gender: Male

There is a multi-layered calcification/ossification in the soft tissues of the anterior thigh paralleling the longitudinal axis of the femur. Features here are consistent with myositis ossificans - especially given the prior history of trauma.
