Curvilinear, oblong-shaped calcific density within the subacromial space at the level of the infraspinatus tendon. A second separate density located more distally, lies within the infraspinatus tendon. No degenerative change at the level of the a.c. joint or glenohumeral joint.
Comment : These findings are consistent with calcium hydroxyapatite deposition in the infraspinatus footplate and sub-acromial bursa.
