What organisms commonly cause choroid plexitis?
Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Cryptococcosis, Nocardiosis, Cytomegalovirus, etc. Choroid plexitis is commonly seen in conjunction with leptomeningitis. This condition is seen in immunocompromised, and less commonly immunocompetent patients.
Distinctive asymmetrical enhancement of the choroid plexus of the right lateral ventricle. The atrium is not dilated nor is there any ependymal or leptomeningeal pathology.
