Prominence of extra-axial subarachnoid spaces with dependancy of brain parenchyma. Minimal herniation of posterior fossa gyri over the anterior tentorium.
Incidental persistent trigeminal artery, a remnant of fetal circulation.
Case Discussion
This premature neonate has not specific abnormality to account for nystagmus. However, there is a persistent trigeminal artery, a remnant of fetal circulation and generalized prominence of subarachnoid spaces.
