Presentation

Right femoral tenderness with an associated mass and features of sepsis. Generalized associated abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

There is an inflammatory mass in the right iliac fossa associated with the inflammed appendix and extending into the right inguinal canal. There is assocaited induration of intraperitoneal fat and subcutaneous edema.
