Case Discussion
Extradural meningioma originates from meningiocytes that entrapped within a suture or fracture line. it may be purely calvarial or shows extracalvarial extension. Differential diagnosis include osseous metastatic deposits, osteosarcoma, giant cell tumor, hemangioma and epidermoid cyst.
This patient went on to surgery (wide local resection) and histology confirmed the diagnosis of meningioma.
