Intramuscular lipoma of deltoid

Soft tissue bulge is noted in deltoid region.
It is more dense than subcutaneous fat shadow.
It is less dense than the muscle shadow.
No bony abnormality is noted.

A well-defined compressible lesion is noted within deltoid muscle. A thin echogenic capsule is noted surrounding the lesion.
Rotator cuff was intact and normal.
No bursal effusion.
No gleno-humeral joint effusion.
Case Discussion
Findings favor intra-deltoid lipoma.
