Celiacomesenteric trunk and arc of Riolan

Discussion:

Arc of Riolan is an inconstant artery that connects the proximal superior mesenteric artery (SMA) or one of its primary branches to the proximal inferior mesenteric artery (IMA) or one of its primary branches.

The common origin of celiac artery and SMA is called as coeliaco-mesenteric trunk, and it represents < 1% of celiac artery variants.
