Extradural hematoma - venous

A right occipital biconvex extra-axial hematoma (maximum depth 2 cm) displacing the transverse sinus, in keeping with a venous extradural hematoma. It exerts mass effect upon right cerebellar hemisphere and 4th ventricle with early hydrocephalic changes, seen as prominent temporal horns of both lateral ventricles.
Diffuse cerebral edema with effacement of cerebral sulcal spaces.
