Marked narrowing of the cervical esophageal lumen, which is displaced anteriorly and to the right.

CT confirms the presence of an soft tissue mass posterior to the trachea, associated with the cervical esophagus, lying just anterior to the C6-T2 vertebral bodies and results in esophageal luminal narrowing. 

Case Discussion

The patient went onto endoscopic biopsy which confirmed squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus.
