Gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) - ultrasound

A well-defined solid mass lesion with central cystic areas is noted posterior to stomach, anterior to pancreas.
No calcification is noted. Solid areas show vascularity.
Approximate size - 85 x 70 x 70 mm.
Case Discussion
The possibility of GIST was suggested based on ultrasound findings. CT was done later raising same possibility.
Surgical excision was done and histopathology confirmed GIST.
