Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, developed scrotal swelling and pain associated with fever.

Massive scrotal swelling with extensive air locules inside diagnostic of Fournier gangrene.

Case Discussion

Fournier gangrene is a type of necrotizing fasciitis that requires urgent surgical intervention. The state of uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, immunosupression and presence of underlying condition e.g. perianal abscess are all risk factors.
