Well defined cystic mass lesion with mural modularity is seen involving the left parietooccipital lobe. Marked enhancement of the mural nodule is seen post gadolinium administration.

Case Discussion

Biopsy turned out to be pilocytic astrocytoma.

Although pilocytic astrocytomas are seen most commonly involving cerebellar hemispheres in children, they can also rarely involve cerebral hemispheres as seen in this case.
