Nonetheless, there is a moderate sized acute infarct involving the right MCA territory, involving right parietal lobe, including the lateral post central gyrus. There is further involvement of the posterior right insular cortex.
No evidence of hemorrhage transformation. This occurs on a background of minor chronic small vessel ischemic changes.
