Where is the elongated bleed seen in the key image located and why is it crossing the midline?
The bleed seen in the key image is along the anterior commissure of the brain. The anterior commissure is a white matter tract connecting the two cerebral hemispheres across the midline which is located anterior to the forniceal columns.
Multiple hemorrhagic contusions in bilateral frontal lobes and bleed along anterior commissure.
No skull fractures, however mandible fractures were identified.
