Intermittent paraparesis, parasthesia.

Patient Data

Age: 24 years
Gender: Female
mri

Multiple patchy T2 and FLAIR white matter hyperintensities with involvement of corpus callosum and callososeptal interface and presence of Dawson's fingers . No enhancing active lesion seen.

Findings are consistent with multiple sclerosis.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a relatively common acquired chronic relapsing demyelinating disease involving the central nervous system. It is by definition disseminated not only in space (i.e multiple lesions), but also in time (i.e. lesions are of different age).
