Presentation
Left breast mass.
Patient Data
Oval shaped mass between lower quadrants (45 mm), with well-defined margins. The mass is hyperintense in T2 acquisitions and hypointense in T1 acquisitions. This mass also presents a homogeneous enhancement with type II enhancement curve (plateau). The lesion is hyperintense in DWI acquisitions (b value=1000), with ADC (maps not shown) 0.00055 mm2/s. No skin involvement is noted.
Case Discussion
Histology confirms a large B-cells non-Hodgkin lymphoma. No clinical findings to suggest an involvement of axillary lymph nodes.
Breast lymphoma is a rare neoplasm accounting about 0.15% of all breast neoplasm and 2% of extranodal lymphomas.
Low ADC value was suggestive of a malignant mass.
