Osteochondroma - spine

Case contributed by Frank Gaillard
Diagnosis probable
x-ray

The lateral radiograph demonstrates a mass with chondral-pattern ossification appearing to arise from posterior elements of the spine or posterior ribs.

Case Discussion

This mass most likely represents an osteochondroma. A possible differential of myositis ossificans can be considered.
