Clostridioides difficile (electron microscopy)

Obtained after an outbreak this micrograph depicts Gram-positive Clostridioides difficile bacteria. These C. difficile organisms were cultured from a stool sample obtained during an outbreak of gastrointestinal illness, and extracted using a .1µm filter.
