Meningioma - cerebellopontine angle

Presentation

Dizziness, vertigo and hearing impairment

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male

Right CPA extra axial durally based space occupying lesion that is seperated from the brain tissue by CSF cleft sign, indents and compresses the right aspect of pons and right middle cerebellar peduncle which shows edema as well and doesn't extends to the internal auditory canal. The lesion shows no diffusion restriction on DWI, low signal on T1, bright signal on T2/FLAIR and avid enhancement after contrast administration.

Case Discussion

Pathologically proved CPA meningioma was excised during surgery.
