Right side painless facial swelling of long duration

Age: 55 years old

A large well defined regular fat density (-120HU) soft tissue lesion is seen arising from the superficial lobe of the right parotid gland.

Case Discussion

Parotid lipoma is a benign non epithelial salivary gland tumor that is composed primary of mature adipose tissue. Diagnosis is made by CT or MRI by identifying fat containing lesion.
