Hepatopulmonary syndrome : patient with liver cirrhosis, portal venous shunting and bilateral dilated pulmonary arteries.

  • MIP CT chest demonstrates bilateral pulmonary arterial tree extending up to the pleura.
  • Coronal view of the chest shows mild irregularity of the liver surface in keeping with cirrhosis
  • Axial slice of CT abdomen, the annotated contrast filled structure is markedly dilated varix, rather than loop of small bowel,  as the result of portal systemic shunting.
