Presentation
Thoracic kyphosis for evaluation.
Patient Data
There is a slight scoliosis of the mid and lower thoracic spine concave to the left. Mild thoracic kyphosis.
Normal segmental vertebral anatomy. Very mild lower thoracic spine scoliosis. Thoracic kyphosis (60 degrees) centered on T7 with anterior wedging from T5-T7. Elsewhere in the body height and intravertebral disc space height is normal. Marrow signal is normal. Lower thoracic Schmorl's nodes.
Conclusion:
Thoracic kyphoscoliosis consistent with Scheuermann disease.
