Diffuse axonal injury

Bilateral traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage, predominantly at the vertex but extending to the central sulci and pooling in the interpedencular fossa. Multiple small right temporal contusions. Right cerebellar hemisphere contusion. Corpus callosum and left internal capsule petechial hemorrhages. Features in keeping with DAI. Mild thickening of the falx cerebri, representing a likely small subdural hematoma.
Right scalp thickening and hematoma with soft tissue defect frontally and multiple hyperdense foreign bodies. Right periorbital hematoma.
No hydrocephalus or pneumocephalus. No skull fracture. Partial opacification of the paranasal sinuses.
